The subject of love and finding love has often come up from time to time in discussions among friends and family. I think love is an interesting topic. I have actually began writing a book about my personal journey to find love. Now, the title sounds like I am looking for a soul mate, but in reality it discusses love in general, the word, the concept, the idea. It also discusses different ways to view love. But, I just wanted to share this little bit with you that I have included in my notes for a future book.
"I had another great conversation today with a friend who is dealing with the crazy notion of love. During our conversation, we discussed the possibility of love having timing, can you love someone now who doesn’t love you back, but might at another point in your life? Also, we discussed the idea of love being given and received in different ways. Does how we love and how we receive love have to correspond to who we love? Can I love whole-heartedly and be content with someone loving me intermittently? These are two questions that I found myself asking during our conversation. To me it seems amazing at how many people find themselves loving someone 100% and that person only loving them when it seems beneficial for them. I think that the people that love the same would probably be a better fit for each other. I think when you give and receive love the same as the person you are with, there is never an issue or a question of love in the relationship."
